    quick as3 question

    hey I just upgraded from flash 8 to cs3, and I can't put scripts on my objects, what the problem?

    There is no problem. That's by design for as3. You may still put script on movieclip timelines, but other script should go in class files which you can associate with library items through their linkage properties.
