    Lightbulb [CS3] newbie looking for help

    hi guys.
    i rather new in the flash community. I guess that i've already aquire the basic of flash animation but however the action Scripts poses me a great challenge.

    AS 2.0 or 3.0 how to choose betweem those 2

    i already started with AS 2.0. I can say that its easier. But i need some help.
    i a actually creating my web site base on flash.

    the ick is that i was trying to insert in the home page: an event section...
    the ick is that once the site is compile and uploaded in the ftp i won't be easy to update the event section.

    this is why i'm asking is there a possibility using the action scripts so as to find a way to unload the event section more easily or event by users on the net just like a blog...

    is that possible...???

    if you are new to Flash then AS2 might be your first choice,
    try to create the application first , and then when you are stuck with the coding then ask for help, almost anything is possible with flash so I'm sure you'll be able to achieve it once you practice a little...

    yes there are lots of them , I think it maybe better if you did a google search for "Flash Tutorials", and you'll have a big list to choose from.

    i was working on the pop up matter and i've got a thing like that:

    on (press) {
    this.attachMovie("flash_popup", "window", 1);
    window._x = 250;
    window._y = 150;
    }

    but i'm still a long way ahead of what i'm looking for...
