[MX] New Game

I am new to Flash and my boss has asked me to create a game and I don’t know were to start or how to do it.

The game is quite simple. There are three people who will be asked a series of questions. What I have to do is digitally move a person up the board for every question they get right until they reach the top. This will have to be controlled by keys rather than using my mouse as we don’t want the people to see what is happening. If anyone could help me that would be great or even have source code as a guide. I am so lost and don’t know were to start!
