    favorite things to combine then eat, that others may find wierd

    i often get wierd looks when i tell people i eat mashed potatoes mixed with mashed turnip. Does anyone else eat anything wierd that people?

    last night i made a lb of red potatoes and nuked a small thing of frozen yellow turnips, mixed it up and ate it all, its one of those these that i crave from time to time.

    Mashed potatoes and corn mixed together is damn good. Also pear slices and Parmigiano Reggiano with a little drizzle of honey always interests people...

    I saw a dish last night on Good Eats that I'm gonna have to try.
    Boneless fried chicken breast soaked in hotsauce on a waffle smothered in maple syrup.
    Sounds disgusting and yummy all at the same time.

    Nothing odd about that... Sounds good.

    Cornichon dipped in pataks chilli pickle, all wrapped in a slaice of peppered ham.

    I got into a kind of trance eating this once and got through a whole jar of chili pickle.

    Took me a few days to get over.
