    Question To upgrade or not to upgrade

    Greetings

    I work for an educational institution. What this means is that I have to justify any thing I want to buy. I'm currently working on Flash 8 and just hit the limitation of not being able to Custom Ease the shape tweening. I wanted to know if it can be done in the new CS4 version. (I'm animating springs and really don't have near enough grasp on action script to do it properly)

    Basiclly, can any one tell me if the new custom easing system works on shapes ?

    Thanks.
    Simply not, those bodies must have been dumped on my front lawn and what blood soaked axe under my bed are you talking about??

    have you tried the easing class which was included in flash since mx?

    import mx.transitions.easing.*;

    Also, keep in mind that in order to use the custom easing in cs4 you'll need to be coding in as3
