    Scanning Photos

    Question:

I am scanning a bunch of old photos, I bought a nice cannon scanner. My question is.

I find that it takes a lot !! of time to do this, after scanning I bring em into photoshop and do color corrections etc.. then I need to cut each one out from the main scan and save as.

Is there an easier way ? Have any of you done this before? What works better...

    Thanks,

PS actions or batch scripts can simplify basic stuff... but nothing can replace human interaction for fine tuning each image
and in a blink of an eye...

I forget the name of the feature but if you throw a bunch of photos onto the scanner bed photoshop can separate them and make their own files from each photo. Then you can go from there and just do levels etc then save.

    That might help a little...
