First, I hope it is ok to post this in the Games forum, realizing there is another forum dedicated to sound and music. I wanted this to be visible to game developers who aren't necessarily pursuing a topic in sound/music right at the moment. It's more of a "poll" for the game development community in general.

In short, where do you, as game developers, go for your music/sound?

I know there are game dev specific resources, such as at kongregate or newgrounds. I know there are generic repositories of royalty free samples/tracks. I don't know as well personally, but I assume there are sites that are artist-centric commercial sources, similiar to what Elance is for programmers.

Where do you go? Are you consistently happy with the results? What improvements would make it more useful? Do you pay, or is free material generally of high enough quality?
