Little village in the Alps over Christmas. It's nice to see some stars after being accustomed to living in the middle of a city.

Indeed. The moon is just too big not to take a photo of tonight. So I am waiting for it to move across the sky a little more and am going to try and get it.

Just had to use a short enough shutter speed to stop the stars from streaking. They still have a bit - the stars are a bit blurred - but its getting the balance between short shutter speed but enough light.

Hey, where do I find the sign-up for this newsletter thing?? How have I missed that for so many years??

Been playing with the camera more...I'll have to start putting some shots up...not anywhere near the level of you guys, but, with enough tips, advice, etc. I've got hope...
