    Full, indepth CS4 review

Just posted what is probably the most honest and thorough review of Flash CS4 there is with photos and video. Read it if you're on the fence about spending the upgrade fee and let me know if I missed anything you're interested in knowing.

Allowable footers are only 300 pixels by 40 pixels, not 362 by 96.

    The review is great.

I agree that CS4 is clunky with the Flash Player always running in the back.. a On/Off switch could be great :

"Make it simple so that it cant be simpler".. its soooooo easy to open Flash and trow some code for testing directly in the fla... but again I need Eclipse for bigger projects.

All the new tools are great and goes in the right direction

But I'am still using CS3 and Eclipse while CS4 icon on the dock tray..

I used Flash for the first time in a while... and let me be honest. It just felt weird.

Got back into Flex, and it just made sense. And I despise programming normally.

In CS4 the Help panel is gone and now reside Online.

So sad to see the new UI working so well with all the windows and the Help Panel opening up in the Browser. On top of that you are stuck with community post by default.

I've not opened up help in an Adobe program in ages. Livedocs.adobe.com - already bookmarked anyway.
