    What it means is that the problem is not a flash/as3 problem, but a lightwindow/js problem. As such, it's a little outside the scope of this forum.

    Did you check the javascript console for errors?

    ...so now i am thinking that it is something to do with the fact that i am trying to add video to the gallery - i changed the url to call a jpg and it loaded up in the html link...

    guess that is it?? it won't add videos to a gallery

    ...now i'm really confused if i use the html below for my page that holds the lightbox - my flash works and displays gallery - but only if i have the html links in there
    Code:
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">

    only thing is - that if i click and open the flash thumbnail and then click on next it freezes the lightwindow - but images seem fine?

    do you think that it might be getting confused between what I am defining in the xml doc and the html link?

    should i be moving this to a different forum now do you think?

    Yeah, I'm out of my area of expertise here. You'd be better off asking for lightwindow support somewhere. Good luck.
