resolved [RESOLVED] A rather strange problem involving publishing

    Hello all,

I've run into a strange problem. In a nutshell, I've created a few flash files and I upload them up to my server. I also upload the webpages that embed the flash files inside of the. Nothing abnormal so far...

But then, when I goto the pages which have the flash files embedded they only partially work. However when I access the flash file directly instead of having the webpage retrieve it (typing in something like: http://www.hello.com/blah.swf instead of http://www.hello.com/blah.html with blah.swf embedded) it works completely. Now what could be wrong? Thats basically my problem right now.

    Here are some more details...

..now here is link directly to the flash file that is embedded in the file...
    http://www.bmuramatsu.com/swf/index.html

...click on news and see how the news section works with the news popping up...

Try the webpage with the embedded flash file..
    http://www.bmuramatsu.com/html/index.html

...now the news doesn't show up anymore...

Thats the problem area which I can't figure out. The webpage links to the same file as I pointed out. Strange as hell...

If you need the .fla files, they are located here:
    http://www.bmuramatsu.com/fla/

basically, the news.swf is loaded by index.swf...if that helps.

    Thanks,
    Would really appreciate any help,
    -Brian

    Upload the .swf' files again.

Put the .swf's files in the HTML directory.

    Try that.

I checked it out and don't know what else to tell you.

I would just put all the HTML documents and .swf files in the same directory.

That way you know it will work.

    Hope it works for you.
