Help a newbie with a button

Ok, I exported an swf from a 3D program (Maya) and imported it into Flash. It's a simple spinning graphic. I have 72 keyframes each showing a different position.

Now, I'm trying to make a button to click that allows you to stop and start the spinning from whatever position you left off. I only know the very basics of Actionscript so all I've been able to do so far is start the spinning and then make it immediately go back to the start frame. Can anyone help?

That's a very cool site, thanks for sharing that. But actually the one most similar to what I'm trying to achieve would be the video called "3D Logo Animation". I basically did the exact same thing only I want to add a button to control the spinning. One that can pause the spinning at any point with a click then start it from that same point with another.

All right, I found the answer. It took me quite a while to find and get right but I ended up using an if-then-else statement.
