[F8] Is there anyway to override an onMouseWheel function?

Ok weird request I know... I downloaded a Carousel component from this site (I bought the license) because it is perfect for a site I'm building and I'm liking it fine except for one thing... the pictures resize when the mouse wheel is used. I've gone through all of the xml settings and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off... and I don't think I have access to edit the component itself, so I was wondering if there was anyway to override it with another piece of code. I tried creating a mouseListener that contained a blank onMouseWheel function, but that didn't work.

Anyone know of a way I could override the onMouseWheel function embedded into the component? Or, failing that... just disable the mouse wheel completely?

    Thanks for any assistance!

I would say since you paid for it, email the author and ask him if he can remove that functionality for you.
