I normally don't do this... but I feel compelled.
SHUT UP!!
There, I feel better. If it applies to you, feel guilty. I don't even care.

having read the first two books of the Dragonlance: lost chronicals trilogy, and im really bummed out. I loved these books growing up and i already now how these stories end, and there just doesnt seem to be any other media roads for it to take. Id kill for a good dragonlance game or even a good movie

Try David Gemmell's Legend series thing...
Read it after a good chunk of friends had been recommending it... Personally I thought it was poorly written and full of plot holes, but that's just me.
And apparently a 1 out of 6 review doesn't count.
I can and will highly recommend David & Leigh Edding's Belgariad & Mallorian though.
That gets two fat flashkid sized thumbs up from me.

i don't really like to read. the thing about these books is i really got into the characters, so reading any other fantasy novels ill always think these books are better.
SO pissed **** like harry potter and twilite are so popular and get these 100 million dollar budget movies, and dragonlance got a $500k horribly animated throwaway dvd.

No, that spelling error was just really bothering me. I ****ing HATE that series with a passion on more levels then 1. I actually hate it more then Harry Potter and I ****ING HATE that bull****. I haven't even watched the movies just out of spite.
I don't read books too often but when I do they are usually non-fiction.
