    image conversion package

    i'm looking for a good image conversion program. fireworks sucks!
    i am primarily interested in;
    1) converting between 32bit and 8bit .png formats
    2) specifying a transparency colour and/or colours
    3) specifying matt colour
    4) batch functions (converting multiple images)

    any help would be much appreciated

    Try this online service: Media Converter. I can't make any claims for features etc., but you could try it out without paying for anything!

    just check it out and it's a bit crude for my needs atm. thanks for the suggestion though.
