Adding a url link CS3

I'm building my site in Flash CS3 and I'm just trying to create simple text url links. I haven't run into this problem before, but when I create the link you can't see it in the rendered movie or it'll make the rest of the page's text formatting out of whack.

Help! I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Do you mean, for example, you have a text list and want the words on that list to link to an external site?
