    What type of 3d files can i use in my flash? I am trying to input a rotating globe. And i was told where to download one already made. So i downloaded it but i dont even know what it takes to view that. It is .3ds file. I hear alot of people talk abotu swift 3d. So what type of 3d file will be accepted in flash 4?

    soul..the .3ds extension is a 3d studio max file.which can be imported into flash. swift, vecta, and swish 3d all export to .swf format. which is a flash format. im not too sure, but flash also imports .dxf, .emf, .3ds, and some other less known 3d file formats. hope that helped

    If i am able to import .3ds why doesnt it work? Is there a particular way i put it in my flash movie? I am sorry i am new to this so i am learning. What kind of player do i need to view a .3ds file?
