cs4.swf = wicked();
Hi everybody,
I'm working on a website using AS3 in Flash CS4 and I've been dealing with a bunch of problems, the source of which I wasn't able to figure out..!
I'll start off explainig how the website works:
all subsections are seperate swf-files which are being loaded into the "index.swf" by clicking on the various buttons. these subsites receive text and images from xml-files. In the "home.swf", for instance, the loaded text happens to be too long for being displayed entirely in the dynamic textfield, which is why I used a regular UIScrollBar component to be able to scroll the text. This scrollbar component, however, isn't active when the flash movie is run online. Why is that?
The other problem I can't get rid of appears as follows: I created a contact form named "contact.swf" which checks all input fields and validates the entered email adress befor sending the mail. This contact form works just fine - as long as I'm using it directly (e.g. www.myurl.com/contact.swf). But when I'm using it loaded into my "index.swf", it won't accept any [Ctrl]-[Alt]-keyboard combinations. So when I'm trying to enter an email adress the flash movie "reads" a "q" when I want to type an "@" (on the german keyboard you have to press [Ctrl][Alt][Q] to get an "@") in the input field. Consequently, an error message is being returned and the message can't be sent. Why is that???
These issues are turning out to be freakin annoying because they're been takin me so much time already!! Thanks in advance for each reply!
