    IE7 - Video doesn't load

    Hey all -

My new player is 99% done, and works great in many browsers, but doesn't work in IE7 in parallels. It doesn't run any of the netstream functions and seems to stop completely, with my spinny progress bar going infinitely. I'm using the debugging player, but no errors are being thrown.

    Here's a link:
    http://www.tribepictures.com/player/...hbandwidth.f4v

I can post code on request. What does IE do differently related to netstreams that might be causing this?

Alternatively, can I post errors to a text box in the player to test?

I should add, this ONLY happens with .f4v files - with flv files, it loads normally. It's a big f4v (40mb) - does that affect how IE works with it? Does it download the video entirely in the background?

OK, the player seems to do NOTHING until the whole file loads, at which point metadata is available and the player can build.

At least with flvs, f4vs never seem to show metadata to IE.

Why does it need to load the whole file before the AS can access metadata? And why does it not know how to read any metadata from f4vs at all?
