    I need a favor from a UK'er

    I can't find an American vendor for the Bermuda Pond Pals... and the ones on eBay are crazily overpriced.

    How big are these things? Mail rates seem to be hideously expensive. What's a cheap mail company?

    The cheapest for us to the US is the normal US mail, via airmail. Royal Post perhaps? It's definitely not FedEx or UPS for something that is over a kilo.

    How big? Good question man. I'm just being asked to locate one for a my mother. She saw it somewhere.

    One kilo is £6.42 ($9.49) from Royal Mail, but I'm not sure what size you can go up to, it just says "small packet".

    If you're in no rush, I can get sheepy to mail them to my uncle in UK, then I can pick them up and send them with one of my crew to NYC and they can mail it from there...

    Should take a week-ten days

    Well the store I went to didn't have any, they'd sold out. They did have one on display though, in their show garden, and it's massive! I thought they were little things, but it's quite big, about 12 inches tall.

    Anyway they're £14.99 (including VAT) which right now is $24... I'll be in London soon so I can try their other stores if you'd like, but you might have to take el-Ignoramus up on his offer of delivery, as I'd imagine they'd be expensive to ship.
