Using a video in flash 8

    hello there

in a project i am developing, i would like to play some videos in a custom made flash player. i know i have to convert my avi's into FLVs. and create the player

what i am doing is cerating a project where the viewer sees a video and when a hazard is spotted they click a homemade button. i want to be able to add a marker so that the viewer cannot click before the hazard happens (to cheat the excercise) but the user can click once the hazard has been spotted

is there a way of putting a marker into the video, so after the marker i can script a change to what happens next.

many thanks for your valuable time

    Yes..They are called "cue points"..

Have flash convert your avi to an flv...This is where you add your cue points... You can also have your cue points fire some action script and or call that cue point (say for advancing to a certain part or the video) from your .swf

so yeah...Cue Points...If im not mistaken when i learned all about cue points and their use it was here that i got all my information...Search cue points here on FK! :P
