Hi gang,

A few years ago I found this code that would make a mc instance duplicate itself and look like water droplets coming out of a spigot. I like the effect, but the code doesn't work past Flash Player 6. Can someone please help me update it so that it works with AS2.0 standards?

Thanks!

In the frame:

Code:
MovieClip.prototype.particles = function(name, ystop, xstop1, xstop2) {
	if (this._name == name) {
		this.i++;
		this.duplicateMovieClip([name]+this.i, this.i);
		if (this.i>1000) {
			this.i = 0;
		}
	} else {
		this._alpha = 50+random(50);
		this.p++;
		this._y += this.gravity += 2;
		if (this._y+(this._height/2)>ystop && this._x-(this._width/2)<xstop2 && this._x+(this._width/2)>xstop1) {
			this._y = 500-(this._height/2);
			this.gravity /= -this.const;
		}
		this.x = this.x*.9765;
		if (this.x>-.25 && this.x<.25) {
			this.x = 0;
		}
		this._x += this.x;
		if (this._y-(this._height/2)>600 || this.p>=35) {
			this.removeMovieClip();
		}
	}
};
On the MC instance named "particles"

Code:
onClipEvent (enterFrame) {
	particles("particles");
}
onClipEvent (load) {
	x = 10-random(20);
	const = 2+Math.random();
}
Thanks in advance for any help offered!
