    looking for a program/plugin

I am going to test out the idea of multiple exposure stacking for star trails but last night I did an hour+ exposure and got that nice noise that fills your picture with blue/red dots. A long time ago I remember seeing a program or PS plugin that would go through and reduce them greatly- anyone?

How about Imagenomic Noiseware Pro? If you wish I'll post a download link...

*It might take a day or 2 cause my lady's in hospital and hence I am pretty busy...

did you do that thing where you take a photo for the same exposure length but with the lens cap on, then use that image as a baseline for your noise so you can cancel out the effects in your actual exposure?

No I've never heard of that. Have any links with examples?

I'll check out that program posted earlier too.
