    redirectingat.com?

This is probably directed to the admins, but what's the purpose for all external links now going through redirectingat.com?

I noticed it when clicking a link, and the request slightly stalled, leaving redirectingat.com/?id=...... in my browser.

I'm purely just curious in the decision for this. Trying to block referring URLs?

Hmm, digging into the source, I found that the links are created through the service Skimlinks. http://skimlinks.com/faq

Affiliate tracking. I sure hope someone isn't profiting from clicks to MyFriendIsATaco.com without me knowing it somehow.

For some reason, I don't think I like this.

honestly, I don't know. I do know that they've had redirect affiliates for some time now. If you really want to know, you can contact the Internet.com marketing folks.

if you're not part of that program, then the redirect does nothing.
