Hello Everyone,

I'm using Flash CS3. I'm using the FLVPlayback component with one of skin templates in my project.

What I want to do is feed an external variable through my php page to flash that will tell flash which FLV to load into the FLVPlayback component using Actionscript 3.

There is only 1 frame in my project, this actionscript is on it's own layer.

The FLVPlayback component is named 'display'

Code:
var myFolder ="flv/";
var myFLV = "mymovie.flv";
var myVideo = myFolder + myFLV;

display.source = myVideo;
My html reads:

Code:
<object id="FlashID" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="640" height="480">
  <param name="movie" value="images/video-player.swf?myFLV=indy" />
  <param name="quality" value="high" />
  <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
  <param name="swfversion" value="9.0.45.0" />
  <!-- This param tag prompts users with Flash Player 6.0 r65 and higher to download the latest version of Flash Player. Delete it if you don’t want users to see the prompt. -->
  <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
  <!-- Next object tag is for non-IE browsers. So hide it from IE using IECC. -->
  <!--[if !IE]>-->
  <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="images/video-player.swf?myFLV=indy" width="640" height="480">
    <!--<![endif]-->
    <param name="quality" value="high" />
    <param name="wmode" value="opaque" />
    <param name="swfversion" value="9.0.45.0" />
    <param name="expressinstall" value="Scripts/expressInstall.swf" />
    <!-- The browser displays the following alternative content for users with Flash Player 6.0 and older. -->
    <div>
      <h4>Content on this page requires a newer version of Adobe Flash Player.</h4>
      <p><a href="http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer"><img src="http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif" alt="Get Adobe Flash player" width="112" height="33" /></a></p>
    </div>
    <!--[if !IE]>-->
  </object>
  <!--<![endif]-->
</object>
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
swfobject.registerObject("FlashID");
//-->
</script>
Please note, my FLV file is located in a subfolder named 'flv' and the name of the FLV file is 'indy.flv'

Any suggestions on what I'm doing write/wrong?

Thanks!
