where I can find this effect for viewing purpose?

I have been trying to find and media effect I seen in some movies at the introduction. It goes like this imagine a dark background and then a name appear with white color font and suddenly the word start glowing white light from in to out from the left side of the word to the end of the word.
Does anyone know where I can find this effect for viewing purpose? Maybe on you tube but under what search??

The fastest and easiest to edit method of doing this is actually via an After Effects plugin. Just export an .flv and use it like any other symbol in your flash movie.

Doing this in straight flash will almost always hurt performance more than it enhances it.
