Anyone know France?
Off driving around France in a couple of weeks.
Here's an idea of a route:

Going to try to get all of that in, in 2 weeks.
Do any of you guys know France well?
How does that route look?
Nice one..

Eh? For some reason a URL shortening service I just used got blanked out?
Sorry if I've done something I shouldn't - it only linked to google maps.
Anyway - here's the full length URL:

I've only been to a few of the spots on your trip, but I can honestly say I am SUPER envious. Looks awesome. I've been drinking a lot of Pinot Noir lately - looks like you'll be heading right through Burgundy...enjoy! Not sure if you're into wine, but if you are, this area right by Dijon is supposed to be the spot.

Am I into wine? That's one of the main reasons I'm going (plus the food and the scenery etc..)
Yeah - really looking forward to tucking into some cassoulet in Toulouse and some fresh fish on the south coast... all with decent wines.
We did a wine trip a few months back - pop over to Calais for the day and pick up 100 or so bottles - most were very good and decently priced. It's easier to buy decent wine over there than it is in the UK as the wines are sorted and priced accordingly - they have a vin de table section, a vin de pays section, AOC etc... It's actually makes it easier only having French wines avaialble rather than having to go through european, new world etc..
Cant wait..

Yeah - what of it?
Nah - I live in London - I'm setting off from the midlands though (after a wedding) and then, when we get back, we're driving straight up to Manchester for another wedding... on a roundabout.

Have fun! Looks like it'll be a good trip. I did Cannes-Nice-Monaco with my girlfriend, who's on her year abroad in Pau, just a few weeks ago. Asides from that not really done much of West France, mainly the Alps side of things. Dijon area is nice.
