    Charging while travelling

Hi - I'm going on a 2 week driving holiday in august and will be camping for parts of the journey - I need to be able to charge my camera battery from my car.

Anyone know of any adapters I can use?

I also need to plug in my laptop as well...

Get a power converter like this if you want do your laptop as well

The other end goes into a cig lighter port.

you camping at campsites or just random places along the way? campsites (in the UK at least) usually have facilities to charge stuff (often with secure lockers).

I'm camping in france. I've looked into it and apparently most places in France have power points so I should be ok - I just need a 'hookup' apparently which allows me to plug into the outdoor powerpoints and convert to UK power - anyone had any experience of this?
