taking a break from this place

ok so i've been on this forum since 2001, that's a long time imo.

I think its time i go on a break. Why? because i have a lot more important things to do now. I'm growing up, and realized that this place is just not the best place for me to share my great ideas.

im stil in school but i dont plan on using my degree or anything. basically there is no interest in that, however i have made money off poker and gonna live off that. How much have i made so far? i'm not exactly sure but i'd estimate close to mid 6 figures. Not gonna provide proof cuz i dun care

as u guys know i am canadian. i registered myself for an RPAL which is a firearms license and i will be starting that in 2 weeks. I like to go to the shooting range once in a while

I'm also on the fence on whether or not i should take up some martial arts. i wanna get back into good shape like i was since i am not in phenomenal shape anymore.

i got a lot of business i gotta handle and stuff i havent been attending to lately.

honestly i know most of the ppl on this forum know me, and i honestly dont no any of u. like most of the ppl i dont even remember their screennames.

the only ppl i rly know are like... gerbick, natsia, wannabe80, pooon, evpohovich i think? and like taco i thnk/... i dont put any effort into remmebering ur names tho because i just dont care .

When i was younger i LOVED to do flash, it was basically all i ever did. i even bought moccks actionscript book and tried to get certified from a course when i was rly f;in young.. come to think of it, i like web design still and often look at flash websites, but i just thnik its a waste of time. when i can be making cake all day long... instead of motion tweening things.

I think i'll return one day, but right now i can't find a reason to spend my valuable time here.

i think for the most part u guys are a bright crowd but the problem is u dont respect ppl unless they know how to do flash, even though they are rich/successful/smart/polite.

so every1 take care, wish u all the best, hopefully u guys can change these blue/yellow colors to something more appealing like... blue/white

I think this post constitutes a ban for any or all of the following reasons:

* Insulting Flashkit by suggesting that growing up is the opposite of posting here (perhaps he has a point there...)
* Describing ones own ideas as great.
* Being in school with no intention of using the degree.
* Wanting to make a living off of poker, whether it's true or not.
* Being Canadian.
* Thinking that anyone understands how a firearms or martial arts class prevents anyone from being able to spend time on a computer. "So long guys. From here on out, I have to take the trash out on Tuesdays."
* Saying that he doesn't care about most people here IN A FAREWELL ADDRESS.

People have to earn respect to be respected.
Even if you really were rich/successful/smart/polite (which we all know you're not), you would still have to act in a manner worthy of respect before you are going to get it.

I will think of you everytime some slacker in a McDonald's drivethru window mumbles "thnxz u" at me through his fake gold snap-in grill as he hands me back the wrong amount of change.
