here is a tutorial on simple animation at:
    http://www.koolmoves.com/support.html

which animates a logo and demonstrates animation.

I would highly recommend the users manual that can be found on that same page as well as a good search of your help file.

I haven't looked into it but you might want to do a search on "animation" and "cartooning" on this forum.

I've not seen a tutorial that addresses your specific question. Maybe there's one out there?

Lastly, when you're all done be sure to let us know how it turns out!

    Good Luck!

I think the "Group" command under the Shapes menu is what you need. It puts them all together but it does not "join" them as a CAD program might. You can add to the group later or ungroup.

Making groups in this way allows you to move a composite piece of art around without messing up placement of the individual parts.

If you have all the body parts you are almost done!

Make sure you have all your parts where you want them. select them all, and then select "Group" or "Ctrl-G"

You might try playing with "BONES" a unique feature of Koolmoves. I've never really messed with them. I think there is an old tutorial on the koolmoves website, Bones have been improved since the tutorial.

And if you get good at "bones" you'll be able to show everyone else how to do it.

Then we'll all be into bones.

It's not a "stickman", but i'm sure you'll like The Runner:

It's an ancient KoolMoves 3.x (flash v5) sample, but very original: the entire motion is ActionScript controlled!
It can be ported on KM7.2 and AS3 without any problem.

Does this Running Man have a name? May I suggest "Arnold"?

He's been running steady since 3.x. It's gotta be a record!

Sorry, it's been a long day and I may be a bit loopy.
