    banner error

    Hi

    Im about to commit suicide, i spend ages getting to know how to use flash, and make a banner

    and the bits that are animated have black boxes over them when i publish

    That's interesting, but it really doesn't help anyone in determining what's causing the issue(s). Do the black intrusions show themselves in the testing environment? If not, what are the publishing settings set to?

    Publishing settings are:

    GIF
    234 x 60 px
    Ticked - Match movie
    Playback - animated
    Loop
    Optomize colours - ticked
    Smooth - Ticked
    Remove gradients - Ticked
    Trasnparent : Opaque
    Ditter: Diffusion
    PAlette Type: Adaptive
    Max colours 255

    Also if i go to Control > Play within flash it works fine

    but if i preview publish then i get the black boxes

    Then that's where I would start, play with the options within the publish settings and see if it turns out a different result.

    tried it while i was waiting for a reply

    ill try restarting PC, see if its flash having problems

    sorted it, turned out the black bit you was seeing was the edge of the text, because the text was massive

    i changed the text to dynamic text and it worked
