    is not what I'm looking forward to, but smooth HD flash games.

    Well we'll know if it's true by october 5.

    This is about the single image plotting accelerated by gpu useful for playback of video smoothly. It is not at all full on hardware acceleration for all display operations (the thing many have been requesting for ages).
    So its not the case that vector fills, bitmap filters or most other graphical things you do in game dev would suddenly run at much better performance.
    Its nice one can finally play flash video smoothly but yeah, better don´t expect any big benefits for game related things or you might be disappointed.
    Its a step in the right direction but adobe has a long way to go.

    good point, either way I'm not hyped or anything so no dissapointment here.
