    Scrolling Text Tween

    So I made a scrolling text tween and I noticed - no matter what I set the frame rate to - that the tween was very jittery. Any ideas on how I can smooth out the scrolling text tween so that it moves smoothly across the bottom of the Flash movie?

    hi there,

    off the top of my head i'd say try:

    add more tween frames?, try change font family/setting?, add fade in/out? how is it compared to graphic tween?

    maybe post link or fla so we can see better.

    Look up the updateAfterEvent function in Flash help... maybe that would help?

    Jujumon - I went ahead and added more tween frames and upped the frame rate to 30fps and it looks great. Thanks to both of you for your suggestions!
