getURL and detect login

I got a website thatwith button that will link to a.swf and in a.swf it will link to b.swf.

And in b.swf, you need to check whether if the user have login before it can link to c.swf if not it will link to login.swf with a button to link to the website login page or another button to go back to b.swf to find the button to go to c.swf. I already have the code on the detection of the login status however when i use getURL to link from a.swf to b.swf to login.swf and back b.swf and to c.swf. It can't work. The original code it was using to link the swf files are loadMovieNum.

May I know what the different of getURL and loadMovieNum and what might be the cause that using getURL it can't work.
