    Question Flash URL help...

    Here's one for you guys...

I have a flash website that I am working on. I'm not quite sure how to do this, but I would like the flash (swf) to post to the URL, something like "http://www.website.com/index.html#/home". Now I want it to write it to the URL without actually going away from the page. The reason is because I want the user to be able to bookmark parts within the website but I don't want to have to create multiple .swf files. So if the user clicks the about page it would post the link (http://www.website.com/index.html#/about) and then I could read the last part of that URL to know which part of the page to load, and that way when they bookmark it and the .swf loads it loads the right page. Thanks guys.

This is called deeplinking. You can achieve it by using SwfAddress or a framework like Gaia. This is not something you can easily implement once your site is already built, so good luck.

Well, the site is still in progress so it's not really "built" yet. Do you know how to use SwfAddress? Or does anyone have a tutorial with how to use SwfAddress? I have never heard of it before so I could use a beginners "manual" on how to use it.
