Red5 live stream flv video
Hi,
I wonder how I can stream FLV videos live with Red5 open source flash server.
I've tried most of the methods I know of, but can not get it to.
Someone who can give me a little script that can stream live FLV videos.

So do you actually have Red 5 set up and running? Did you do the set up or have someone do it for you? I'm very interested because I'm in the process of setting up Red5 myself.
Here are a couple of sites I go to for information. I've seen tutorials for many, many applications.
http://osflash.org/red5
and
http://www.red5server.org/
So you can write your own apps or get a free download of the
Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashm...hmediaencoder/
from Adobe to encode and push the stream to the server.
I'd be interested to hear how you do on this project.
Best wishes,

What I am looking for is a script that streams flv file directly to RED5. In real time. As a live webtv channel. Shown you know what I mean.

Well did you even take a look at the Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder?
This is the software you plug the camera into and stream live video out to the server. It's free, has lots of settings for size and quality, including H.264.
I've used it and it works great.

Now that you have installed RED5 on serer side, you need a Web FLV player that supports live streaming on client side. You can check the RTMP Stream Plugin on playerdiy.com, which supports live video streaming. This is tutorial - http://www.playerdiy.com/support/tut...eo-player.html
