When you know are.
Seems like a good start to a game. But can you even lose? I like the presenation and the slot-machine idea is nice.
If you mixed it up with some more challenging or unpredictable enemies it could be interesting.

Really, really nice game!
I played your other ones, which were fine, but really felt this one was a blast.
As may be evident from what Son of Bryce said, I don't think it ramps up quickly enough, but I enjoy the insanity once it gets going!
(And the chance of receiving a powerup is pretty cool!)
Nice!

And apparently the faster I go at the beginning the faster it ramps up, so it ramped up faster the second time, which was good rate for me. Also the highscore at the end has a font embedding issue I believe and the text is selectable.

Thanks for the replies.
SOB - Yep, you can definitely lose. The difficulty soon ramps up once you get going, and if the invaders hit you, you die.
Regarding what you said about it being a good start though (even though I think you meant it because you didn't realise you could die), I'm actually feeling the need to do a sequel for this with a bit more time thrown at it. I'm usually against doing sequels to my games because I feel that it then becomes about milking the game for cash rather than being creative (which is fine if you make games for a living, but otherwise I like to see innovation). However I've had really surprisingly positive feedback for this despite the fact that I feel that there is a lot I could add to it, so I'm thinking a complete reworking of it with just about everything improved on could equal a very successful game.
UnknownGuy - Cheers mate , yea this one is definitely the most playable. I prefer the other two for style, but this one was always going to be more popular and has proved to be already.

yeh this one is the best so far in terms of design and gameplay. But personally I am going to vote for the last one in terms of originality and fun!
