    resolved [RESOLVED] Hosting .as files...

    Can anyone explain to me why creating a text link to a .as hosted on my site creates a 404 error? If I change it to .txt it works fine but I'd really like the user to be able to open the file directly into Flash.

    If your on a windows server then you will need to set the MIME type for the as file. Not sure what the procedure is linux based server.
