    Photoshop actions

    any of you make your own or use any cool ones?

    I really have my eyes on these sets. The recipe section is cool.

    I once made a 'Resize' action myself...a 5 or 6 steps action to avoid artefacts....worked in CS3 perfect but in CS4 strangewise it caused a 'harsh' effect...
    I rather work on all my shots individually now...

    I've got a few set up but I rarely use them - each photo is different so a generic action only works for a small number of photos.

    I'll check out the totally rad stuff

    I've mucked around with actions quite a bit in the past and the only ones that have stuck are convert to CMYK and flatten image. Batch actions can be pretty useful for resizing a load of images in one go.

    Yeah I actually use actions quite a bit. Usually just top batch resize and stuff like that but when I need them they are a life saver.

    Same here, nice to create borders and resize your images. BUT its when you need to crop/fix first where it starts taking time. You need to use Percent rather than pixels for any resizing for those cropped non standard size images.
