What are the cons of publishing in Flash Player 7?

I've been working on an xml gallery. The website scales according to the browser window. Some of my work is fine lineart and any scaling seems to cause a lot of aliasing. If I publish it with Flash Player 7 the scaling is fine.
This may sound like a naive question but what are the cons with publishing a portfolio with an older Flash Player?

I haven't noticed a thing. Do you have the example online somewhere? How are you importing your link art? Is it vector based, or flat (like a JPG)?

    Hi Intromo,

I haven't got an online example. My images are jpgs coming from an external file. If you publish in Flash Player 7 with setting at 'best' then resize the browser to scale the website it automatically smooths.

With flash player 8+ it doesn't and any scaling will cause aliasing. There's a work around by smoothing the image using bitmapData when it comes in. My code is heavy and I haven't been able to code this into there.
