    Paragraph Tag - Redundant?

Am I right in thinking the Paragraph tag in Flash HTML has no other affect than creating a line break?

    PHP Code:
    myText.multiline true
    myText.html true
myText.htmlText '<p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet</p><p>In in ligula quam, sed feugiat justo.</p>'
    Produces:
    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet
In in ligula quam, sed feugiat justo.
    Whereas using a <br> tag:
    PHP Code:
    myText.multiline true
    myText.html true
myText.htmlText 'Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet<br>In in ligula quam, sed feugiat justo.'
    Produces:
    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet
In in ligula quam, sed feugiat justo.
Exactly the same output. It's impossible to get a proper HTML paragraph break in Flash, the only alternative is a double line return ? I cannot believe this

You could use the <p> with CSS?

Also using the correct tags for the right contents is good for semantics.

    Any other workarounds ?
