Dang, ten years is a long time. You guys helped me just enough to fake my way through my first development job interview. I'm still copying and pasting stuff off here and particularly love helping the newbs out in the forum since I received so much love out of there when I started. Happy Birthday.
I come back occasionally when I'm using Flash for work projects.. Flashkit got me through college (or the ignoring of). Made some great friends. Good to see the Picture Exchange is still up and running.
I logged in about two years ago because it was the only way I could think of to find my ICQ number (another blast from the past). Yellow forums caused a reaction - partly recoiling, overexposure to web 2.0's soft gradients have spoiled me - also from the memory. The posts have been archived now, but this is the only forum where I have exceeded 100+ posts (well over 1k - maybe more). All drivel though!
I still remember some of the post and discussions we had here back then... Napster closing, the dot-com bubble burst, the "Flash designers guild" idea that never materialized (why?), IE winning over Netscape, Flash invading the internet (I remember thinking it would eventually replace HTML... now its seems the other way around is bound to happen!) Wow, so much water under the bridge! I'm now 10 years wiser, 2 kids happier and still expecting much more exciting things to come!
Happy birthday! I glad to see everyone here.
By the way, where is Mark?
I can still remember his short videos on the snow 10 years ago when he gone for holiday.
