    New Band

Older viewers may remember how proud I was about 4 years ago when my first grandchild, Dylan, was born. How proud do you think I am here:

It was at No. 3 son's 30th birthday party the other week.

His guitar complements your cast so nicely.

    way cool.

Just tell me you don't have a DiMarzio Pickup in that jumbo and your running it to the Marshall behind you.

Frets, I did some work for Jim Marshall 5-6 years back and he gave me a signed copy of 'The Father of Loud', something I look after and cherish.
I had a piezo pick up fitted to my acoustic last year, 40 years after I bought it. Wish I'd done it years ago, now I can duckwalk. Well, not at the moment until the leg's better, but good to move around.

Wow 40 years with the same acoustic. The tones must lay down like tupelo honey warm sweet and round. Acoustics never survive me the necks always warp.

Sadly I sold my JCM800 when I gave up live performances. It was just too tempting with thin apartment walls. Here you don't just spend a night in the pokey for disturbing the peace, The apt complex evicts you as well.

Yes, the neck warped on the Hoyer about 15 years ago, it was cheaper to have a new truss rod and get it refretted than to buy a new guitar, plus it's the only guitar I've played that suits my fingers, with a slightly wider and thinner neck than usual. I'd like a new guitar someday, though, it would be good to have one in open tuning to save time.

Wide thin and moderatly priced in an acoustic is nearly impossible.
I've got this - http://www.godinguitars.com/godinacsp.htm but it mostly collects dust.
As far as feel you would love it, but trust me you'd hate strumming chords on it. Nylon strings are tuning disasters.
