resolved How to make a game like Angry Birds?

    Hey,

I was wondering if it is possible to make a game like Angry Birds or Castle clout in flash and if so, does anyone know how or know any good tutorials (preferably simple).

    thanks.

    Yes, it's definitely possible.

You will need to use a good physics engine like Box2D and be very fluent in ActionScript. Here's a good tutorial on Box2D to get you started:

If that code looks a bit too heavy for you, you might need to take a few steps back and try a simpler project first.

here are some good video tutorials: http://kerp.net/box2d/

unfotunately as good as they are, the guy uses box2d 2.0... rather than the current version 2.1 (which has some larger API changes as well as newer functionality)

Why would it not be possible? It's been done already.

Here's one that uses a trebuchet instead of just click & drag: http://playsomegames.com/play/Crush_the_Castle/

Castle Smasher is almost the same game as previous: http://playsomegames.com/play/Castle_Smasher/

    There are others...
