Flash Projector Complications

I am making a Flash Projector/.exe based Flash movie... It should be able to run independently, off/online. Is there a way to save long text (onto the hd or the .exe movie) or the position of symbols "dragged" into certain locations after the user has shut off the "program" so that they can be reloaded again nxt time?
