    How to make a Carousel

    Hi,

    Can you guys point me to any examples or give advice on how to make a product carousel using KoolMoves? My goal is to make a carousel that highlights 5 CDs -- if one imagines a CD cover, I'd like it if the user can:

    • roate the covers in a carousel like fashion
    • play a few canned audio snippets from the front most CD
    • flip CD and read the back cover

    A visual example of something semi-similar is www.obfy.net/flavors.php ... warning: I watched this during the day and had 2 Haagen Dazs icecreasm at night

    Any guidance or similar examples much appreciated ... I'm pretty new to this stuff

    (I have KoolMoves 7)

    @Reto,

    I believe it would be very hard to create something like it using only the gui.
    If you are familiar with ActionScript, it's possible to create it using ActionScript.

    I tried it once without success using the tutorial movie at http://www.gotoandlearn.com/. You might try that. I probably missed something.

    If you want AS3, I have something full 3D but I have to find it first of all.

    Actually, creating a carousel is not very hard task if you understand trigonometry and know actionscript.

    Or you can just use this example. (I don't remember where it's from, but it's not mine)
