First of all, let me say hello! I have decided to take on learning how to program in Flash. More specifically, Actionscript 2.0. I do not currently know really anything about programming, but I am tech savvy and pick things up really fast. I am looking to develop a couple of applications for use with Control4 (http://www.4store.com/developer/portal/). I have Adobe CS4.

I am hoping to make a CoverFlow app like this (http://www.weberdesignlabs.com/blog/...es-cover-flow/) to select music and movies within the Control4 environment.

Is this a lofty goal? Is this something that you think I can accomplish dedicating a few hours per week to this? I don't have a ton of free time, but I also don't mind if this takes a while, I am in no huge hurry.

Can you point me to any good starting points? I literally don't know the first thing about it. My programming experience ends with some HTML editing about 20 years ago, and some minor PHP editing done on a couple of my websites that are built around WordPress.

Let me thank you all in advance for putting up with my stupid Newb questions. I look forward to diving in, getting my head around Actionscript and writing some apps. Any direction you can give me would be great.

Thanks!

Dan
