    This isn’t the right forum for this kind of thing, but here’s a couple of things to get you going – if you’re sure you want honesty.

    • Black is ugly, use greys and use #444444 for text
    • Underlining is ugly, even for links – use colour or shapes
    • Drop shadow is random, continuity is key – imagine the page is a physical object, what should have a drop shadow. Trick to drop shadows: less is more.
    • Sliding effect on the menus just delays the use and doesn’t really make sense


    Considering that English is your second language, the text is good.
