    replace buttons

    The search at these boards keeps timing out..

    so I ask question instead...


    it is very simple request and I cant seem to find how


    how do I replace all my buttons with a different one?


    I have not added my buttons to the symbol library, so I can't replace from there...

    I cannot see an option under the button states to replace it with a library button...

    Depends on how your buttons were made.
    If it's just normal buttons with states you could copy and paste a group of objects, or movie clip, into your button states. A bit tedious if you have lots of buttons.

    On the other hand, I just noticed a bug with the button component. If you select more than one component button and change the skin, only the last button selected receives the changes.

    EDIT: I keep forgetting to email the bugs to support, rather than posting them here. Sorry guys.

    It is a limitation for certain properties.

    I will make a note for version 8.1 of a need to systematically change skins for all component objects or object types in the movie.
