    If you have a FB account, I need some help for a friend

    Hi Everyone,

    My friend Jeff has had a pretty rough year. After being diagnosed with cancer and going through some hellish chemo and surgery on his arm, the cancer is back and in his lungs now.

    Apparently they mis-diagnosed the cancer that they found in his arm and missed the lungs until a recent follow-up visit. The first round of treatment was useless for the lung cancer.

    His wife (Olivia) and daughter (Arwyn) also both are in and out of hospital on a regular basis. It's been a pretty grim year for him and the family. Olivia has a painful bone condition called Fibrous Dysplasia and Arywn has Neurofibromatosis. One family with a whole lot of problems.

    Olivia found out about a contest where they could win $25,000 by telling their story on facebook and she decided to give it a try. Get some tissue, the link to their story is below.

    I just got an update on my friend. He has neutropenia. It's a hematological disorder characterized by an abnormally low number of white blood cells. Possibly aggrvated by the chemo. Damn it. He was admitted to the P.A hospital this evening. His wife says "The man is not looking well, hopefully with his isolation bubble room well away from sick Arwyn & I, & lots of IV meds he'll be back to somewhat normal". If you believe in the power of prayer, start your engines... If it wasn't for bad luck the Henry's wouldn't be having any luck at all these days.

    Well the contest is over and they finished 3rd, which is in the money! CUA just had a little party for the winners where they got one of those big novelty cheques for $25,000! This is a life changer for them. Thanks everyone!
